Why MSS?

MSS is a US company with our manufacturing facility located in Fortville, Indiana. Although we purchase components throughout the world, ALL of our CMM's are built here and are pre-certified before shipment. Combined with our partners, Leader Metrology we have over 200 combined units which have been sold World Wide Since 1998.

The MSS-SX series are a small to medium range of Bridge style CMM's that are designed to accommodate the measurement of small to medium size parts manufactured in all areas of the manufacturing industry. The MSS-SX series of CMM’s are an entry level CMM without any compromise to quality.  The bridge style CMM is known throughout the industry as one of the most stable designs for good metrology.  ALL MSS-SX series CMM can be equipped with either Renishaws UCC2 or UCC-Lite CMM controller driving system. Utilizing Renishaws line of controllers allow All MSS-SX series CMM’s to be equipped with any Renishaw probing system which can be configured to meet the customers exact requirements to maximize throughput. 

MSS-SX series utilize precision ground air bearing for all moving axis, thus allowing for smooth friction free motion.

MSS-SY series is the latest generation of Moving Bridge style high accuracy high speed Coordinate Measuring Machine from MSS. The MSS-SY serials combines single-point probing and analog scanning in a single high performance measuring machine also can equipped with contact and non-contact probe system.  ALL MSS-SX series CMM can be equipped with either Renishaws UCC2 or UCC-Lite CMM controller driving system. Utilizing Renishaws line of controllers allow All MSS-SX series CMM’s to be equipped with any Renishaw probing system which can be configured to meet the customers exact requirements to maximize throughput.

MSS EY series CMM are suited for accurate measuring in the production field for large parts, part layout, reverse engineering, and quality control.
MSS EY series CMM use high trestle L shape structure that will assure the stability of a large structure to move smoothly and accurately. This design will allow for rapid measuring speeds, with little pitch and yaw to assure the collection of highly accurate data.
MSS EY series CMM’s worktable, guideways and upright post are all made from precision ground granite. By using granite in all axis’s allows for a very stable machine from thermal expansion.

ALL MSS-EY series CMM are equipped with Renishaws UCC2 CMM controller driving system. Utilizing Renishaws line of controllers allow All MSS-EY series CMM’s to be equipped with any Renishaw probing system which can be configured to meet the customers exact requirements.

The MSS-EYCF is a highend version that utilizes carbon fiber supports for the substructure and ceramic for both the Z spinal and X axis guide
